Adam Collins grew up in Visalia, CA and attended Long Beach State, while playing college waterpolo for 4 years. After college his passion for serving his community led him to becoming a Police Officer where he served in Atascadero, CA and couple years later settled back to Visalia, CA. As a police officer he worked on patrol, gangs/narcotics and protecting our schools as a resource officer. He spent 14 years on SWAT and developed programs/support groups for officers involved in critical incidents and suffering from mental health conditions. In 2013 during the apprehension of gang member he was shot 4 times, almost losing his life. This event changed many aspects of his life, but he continued to serve his community as an officer. After COVID 19 he and his wife, Korin wanted to raise their children in a loving community that shared Godly values and they knew Idaho was the perfect fit for them and made the leap in August of 2021.

Korin Velez grew up in a rural community of 3,000 people in Three Rivers, CA. She attended BIOLA university and became an emergency room Registered Nurse. After 7 years she went back to school to become a Physicians Assistant. She completed her Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies at A.T. Still’s University in Phoenix, AZ. With a decade of experience in emergency room, urgent care, hospitalist and in family medicine, she is well-versed in various medical fields. 

Adam and Korin are married and have a blended family of seven children. They moved to Idaho seeking a community that shared their values and current live in Emmett. They have since integrated into their new community, raising 30 chickens and participating in numerous local events. 

Adam’s love for helping people transitioned him into real estate, working with Homes of Idaho and the Cardoza Real Estate Team since 2022.
